E J Zyla formulates thought scapes that create characters who inspire stories. The characters go about marking the imagination with new perspective. The stories are a fragile mapping of the past and future for the now. They then become the inspiration for which E J Zyla will paint / draw them into existence.                                                                Becoming more than an idea - they serve as a translator.                                                                                                                      They are sent on their way to travel through the thought scapes, lands and valleys of the E J Zyla mind. They report back, telling all that is happening and E J Zyla documents this information with paintbrush, pens, paper and pencils. Words and photos are also used to bridge, understand and translate. E J Zyla is an emerging artist from Brisbane, who writes and illustrates her own artists books, zines and creates character and concept  development.
